The iPhone 7 though? Not a single reason to get axed at all. The A10 Fusion might not be the strongest CPU in Apple's lineup, but dropping support on the iPhone 7 while keeping both iPad 5 and iPad 6 (that have either the same or worse SoCs) seems weird.
