881 Nov 3, 2021. #8. Not sure who came up with the 40 figure, but you definitely donโt have to worry about your lithium ion batteries dropping below 40%. A more realistic range for optimal battery health is 25-80%, or even 20-80%. Even if you drain the battery completely, itโs not going to do much damage as long as you donโt charge it
WithiPhone 15 models, you can choose between Optimized Battery Charging, 80% Limit, and None. When you choose 80% Limit, your iPhone will charge up to about 80 percent and then stop charging. If the battery charge level gets down to 75 percent, charging will resume until your battery charge level reaches about 80 percent
Ratherthan keeping your battery at full charge, your Apple Watch will learn from your charging habits and hold the charge at 80% and will only jump to 100% rightThecompany specifies that, with the necessary equipment, the watch can charge from 0 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes. Unfortunately only Apple Watch 7, 8 and Ultra can charge this fast. Itypically charge my watch in the morning after I get out of bed, while I get ready for the day. Charging it to 80% is more than enough for it to last the entire day and night so I don't see any point in charging it any more, not to mention that it's better for the battery if it's only charged to 80%. OptimisedBattery Charging is on by default when you set up your Apple Watch or after updating to watchOS 7 or later. When the feature is turned on, your watch delays charging past 80% in certain situations. In these situations, the watch's battery level remains between 75% and 80%. Your watch uses on-device machine learning to learn your daily n5plmd.
